Antalya Airport
Antalya Airport (AYT) is one of the largest airports in Turkey. The airport is built to accommodate the millions of passengers who come to Antalya every year to enjoy Summer Holidays. The airport is located on 13 km northeast of Antalya city center and handles both domestic and international flights. When you follow Alanya road from city center by car, it takes about 20 minutes to reach Antalya Airport. AYT is an entrance to several seaside resorts of Turkey. The airport has two international terminals and one domestic terminal.
No public transportion ia available from the airport to the city centre but hotels and tour operators usually provide a service shuttles for their customers. Besides, you can use Havas airport shuttle bus which drops passengers in the Antalya Otogar bus terminal and Antalya city centre. Alternatively, you can take a taxi for 20 TL.
You can find bars, cafes, fast-food restaurants and several shops at the airport, including duty-free in International Departures. There are also some currency exchange offices but the rates are usually poor. Rate of exchange in the hotels are better, but you can find the best rates in banks or exchange offices in the city center.
